I’ve noticed more recently that the rotate trait is softening images to the point where it causes some eye-strain, making them difficult to read at rotations at anything other than 180 degrees.
The example here is for clarity but the softening effect becomes more problematic for counters with more colour and detail.
Actually yes, much better in 3.1 thanks Joel. 0, 90, 180, 270 are pretty much perfect. Angles in-between are still slightly blurry but it’s not a show-stopper. Attached are examples of Photoshop rotation vs Vassal 3.1.
