Server drop-outs

I have played many modules with many others in different parts of North America, and yet have the following problem with a friend who lives about a mile away within the same city.

We both connect to the server and enter the same room and one of us has the game state sent to them - all without a problem. But as soon as one of us moves a unit, the other loses his connection to the server.

We are on the same ISP but our IP addresses are completely different - not even the first two characters are the same.

Has anyone else encountered this?

Do either of you have AT&T (or an AT&T reseller) as your ISP? AT&T
customers have been having connection problems since the end of
February.

No we are both on Shaw in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

If I set up a connection and record when we get dropped, would there be any server logs generated that would be of assistance? I’d be happy to respond with the info needed.
