A rookie game anyone?
I’ve got this game but haven’t punched the pieces … did you ever find an opponent?
I live in Canberra, Australia (GMT +10).
I started a PBEM game some time ago playing the introductory scenario “The Assault of Gallus”. The only problem was having to interrupt turns when the defender has to decide on casualties and retreats. This slows things down too much. I think you have to trust your opponent to make those decisions.
This is a great game and I would like to play again. I was doing well as the Romans and was disappointed that we had to abandon the game just when I had made a breakthrough.

Well this thread is pretty old but I love this game and have always wanted to play it - if anyone is still listening to this thread, hit me up. I’m new to the Vassal system so may need some advice getting things set up.
