We’ve been afflicted by an unusually persistent spammer in the past few days. I’ve changed the site settings so that the first few posts from any new user go into the moderation queue and increased the minimum time between posts a bit in response.

Unfortunately, moderated posts still go straight to the list, so I will be trying to fix that this evening.

I believe I’ve adjusted the list bridge so moderated posts go out to the list only when approved. If you see any problems with the forum, please let me know, as I haven’t exhaustively tested this change.
