Nice to see the update focusing on quality of life improvements. Are there any gameplay changes or is this version mainly fixes and usability updates?
Well for 1 there is a “Master Control” controller that automates a bunch of game-play.
Replacing the separate ones.
The ‘Player Mats’ have commands to get more counters from the ‘Decks’ saving players to have multiple windows open.
I added a separate “Trade Goods” Window for each Faction. If players want to keep trade goods & Settlements off the main board, to reduce clutter. of my testers about 70% used this. the others just left trade goods stacked with ships on the Main Map.
Players can also get summon goods directly from the Trade deck here.
I also added space to do the same for bases.
Players may use this as they see fit.
We tried to figure out a simple way of showing if a ship was carrying cargo. But the counters are already really busy and all unique. I could not find an empty spot that was the same on all ships. I was thinking about outlining the Cargo value. but even there are not in the same place on all ships. I was too lazy to make a unique graphic for each cargo capable ship.
Added a counter to assist players, with tracking the “base” population limit of a system, due to multiple factions with bases.
Players will still have to figure their individual limit due to improvements.
There is a Property sheet where players can add their personal modifiers. but they still have to remember to look ![]()
For the OCD (not that I am making any accusations, D.H.) among the players. Bases can be rotated so as to line up with system borders.
And other changes I forget at the moment. Up to you if they are game-play or quality-of-life changes

Oh yeah, I just remembered. There are top menu buttons (‘Game Piece Inventory’ official terminology). That report number and current locations of various pieces.
Players do have to have the center of the ship counter inside the system hex for correct reporting. Players can click on the ship in the list to center the view on selected ship/Base/Trade-Demand
