There are two “packages” pictured. One is named “Cingapura-Somnium”, the other “Module”. The user wishes to delete or rename “Cingapura-Somnium” and leave only “Module”, in order that the formatting matches other module pages. This is not currently possible.
I have modules for the following from your list above.
A Game of Thrones: The Board Game (Second Edition)
Great Battles of Alexander: Deluxe Edition
Kingmaker
Source of the Nile
What do I need to do to assist with the conversion process. When I log in, I still don’t seem to have any editing privileges. Not sure if that’s just me, or the editing just hasn;t been switched over yet.
I also appear to have created a dual user name problem one is clanmacrae the other is clanmacrae9 and they are both listed randomly throughout my project pages. Is there a way to get all of my projects under the clanmacrae9 account and delete the clanmacrae account? (Or vice-vers if logical)?
The first thing we need to do is be clear on which account you want to keep. In this case, both accounts are real ones, neither are placeholders. I’ve sent you a private message so we can continue resolving the issue there.
In general: If anyone need accounts merged, please send me a private message about that.
No, my email combatengineerjr@gxxxx is for the profile combatengineer with no ‘jr’. I have never maintained this module. The two people that do are the ones I listed in the original post. Herman Wu sent me an email and said that he had this issue also and you fixed it. Here is what he told me:
John, sounds like you're in the same situation I found myself.
Joel et al created a place-holder account 'Herman_Wu' account that I could not access, while creating the new library.
Just request that he merge 'combatengineerjr' with your regular username account.
Once he merged 'Herman_Wu' with my account username, I could make the necessary changes in at least some of the affected modules.
Herman
Please remove that profile and add them. There is no combategineerJR profile. Please do NOT merge it with my real profile. I’m not part of this project.
Try logging out and logging in again. If you continue to see these errors after that, please let us know.
I can’t add a release.
Release versions must follow the semantic versioning standard. Releases which aren’t prereleases must have version numbers of the form x.y.z. Make sure you’re entering a valid version number.
I can’t upload a file.
Please provide details so we may investigate further.
I have multiple user accounts I want to combine.
The old library contained many user accounts which we couldn’t match to user accounts here in the forum. Ones which had no email address were given placeholder addresses, and then all had forum accounts created for them. If one of those accounts is yours and you would like it merged into the account you normally use, please let us know.
There is something missing or wrong with a project page.
If the project page is listed here and you are one of the maintainers, please start a new thread or send me a private message so we can work out how to proceed.
If project page is not one of those listed above, please start a new thread or send me a private message detailing the problem so it can be fixed.
I am having some other kind of problem.
Read through this thread to see if it’s already been reported here and or resolved. If not, please let us know on this thread.
That is an answer, but it hasn’t helped me. The project title conforms, so far as I can tell, but the same 400 error every time. Logged out, logged in, tried some more. Then–oops–experimented with a nonsense title. That one took! There is now a project page called “Wambo” which is absolutely meaningless. How do I get rid of it?
As far as I know, you can’t. But also, the project name seems to be totally unimportant - note how all the project names so far are just numbers. Wambo seems to me to be as good as any.
When this post appeared I received an email with this same message, which stated “Visit Topic or reply to this email to respond.” I replied to the email then, but I’m wondering if it went through. Therefore, I’m repeating my response here:
At the moment, I don’t have a page. I originally created an El Alamein module page last June.
2)More recently, this Don Lasov added his module to the old page, as was normal then. Now, he is listed as the “owner” of the page, which includes my module as well, it being listed as one of his page’s “packages.”
As I understand it, module=project, which means there should be two separate pages, he the owner of and responsible for his module/project, I the owner of and responsible for mine. Right?
Given #3, do I need to create a new page (project, whatever) or is this something being fixed on your end?
Concerning my recurrent 400 error, I was trying to create a project to split off my module of “El Alamein: Battles in North Africa, 1942” and solve the problem with that page. No variation of that title would work, as if just the mention of “El Alamein” was enough to stop the process. That is why I tested with “Wambo,” only to discover I didn’t know how to cancel that.
Your efforts are greatly appreciated. I look forward to many more projects once everything is running smoothly.
