The Russian Campaign - some issues

There are several issues in The Russian Campaign module that should be addressed:

  1. In the Weather Chart, the Nov/Dec result for a ‘3’ should be -2 (not +2).
  2. In the Combat Results Table, the result for a D1 should state “remaining units retreat 2 hexes” (not “retreat 1-2 hexes”.
  3. There are several typos in the OOB chart (September is misspelled in Russian OOB,Russian Oct reinforcements start in Moscow, 9i in German AGC start should be a 5-4, not a 4-4).

Links to modified OOBs can be found on my website and may be used freely: firish.com/TRC/index.html

Also, if more hands are needed to help implement fixes, changes, etc, I have more than 40 years of software experience (pick a language, I probably know it) as well as a bit of free time now that I’m retired.

Have you notified the module’s maintainer about these problems?

J.

Well, I couldn’t figure out who that was. The only credit I could see was the “WAG Team”.

Look for “Maintainer”, in the Module Information section of the page.
There you will see the maintainer’s name, and if logged in, email
address.

Thanks; I sent Bill Thompson an email about these issues.

This is Bill Thomson, presently the only remaining active member of the WargameAcademy.org (WGA) team. Brent Easton & Jeff Wise there the other legs of the stool. Since I reuse there earlier contributions, I keep using WGA team. I am in conversation with Dick J, so will pursue all corrections. There’s a joke there somewhere, about a one-legged barstool.
