TS - Tear Down this Wall and Space race

Great module, really impressed by how well it works. But a couple of queries from playing using the server:

  1. Playing Tear Down this Wall as an event didn’t stop the Willy Brandt event occurring when the card was played by the Americans. My understanding of the cards was that the Willy Brandy event should have been unplayable in these circumstances, and the card should have just worked as Ops points for the Americans. But maybe I’ve misunderstood the cards.

  2. When progressing on the Space Race, the May Play 2 Space Race cards per Turn advantage (Animal in Space) seems to stop when you reach Man in Earth Orbit, even when your opponent has not yet reached Animal in Space. My understanding was that the Space Race advantages were cumulative, not that only the latest advantage applies. Is my understanding wrong?

This will be fixed in the next version of the VASSAL module.

Your understanding is not wrong. However, it seems to be working fine.
One possible issue is that after “Man in Earth Orbit”, you need to play
3-Op cards instead of 2-Op cards. So it’s possible that you expected to be
able to play a 2-Op card, but the module didn’t let you.
