VASSAL (Fixed v3.1.0 Beta2) Loaded - VASL HELP ! ! !

Hi

I know I have been out of the loop since the late 1980s but this is killing me. I can at last spend time at home and online on an almost normal schedule.

PLEASE though help me get VASL loaded and running on my machine.

Is there a way to get to what I would call a Main Room for VASSAL?

I can start VASSAL but no idea about my online status from any of the options along the top of the box. I can load a module and go that main room.

I want to be able to go from room to room espically the VASL room and get some help that way.

PLEASE HELP ME.

I understand this is the VASSAL Forum but I don’t seem to have a problem with VASSAL I can get that to run fine on my machine.

My problem is that I can’t get VASL to run.

Any suggestions on why if the programs are somewhat the same that one would work but the other one wouldn’t.
