Vassal Glitching on Menu/Tab Opening

I have Vassal latest version loaded on both my laptop and desktop.

Desktop Alienware AMD Ryzen 7 3700x 32.0 GB
Laptop Intel i5-9300H 8.0 GB

On the Desktop - vassal glitches and screen starts splitting into multiple displays when I do menu tabs or counters that have extra actions. Have to close program and reload to fix glitch. Is there something that I need to set or fix - I have latest Java loaded on both but for some reason Desktop version glitchs almost 75% of the time. No issues with Laptop - same Vassal module version and java.

You didn’t mention what OS you’re using.

  • For Windows: Troubleshooting Common Problems - Vassal

  • For MacOS: If you’re using an M1 Mac you’ll find a Preference labeled “Disable OpenGL FBOs” in 3.6.0-beta1 or later. You’ll want to tick that.

If neither of those apply, we need more information about your system.

Here is a screen shot – the map has glitched into 3 copies of the map overlapping each other

Seems to have done the trick. Thanks for the quick help – this glitch has been driving me crazy!
