Vassal glitchy since upgrading to macOS 10.12

Hello,

I play on a MacBookPro and recently upgraded my OS to 10.12. My Vassal version is 3.2.17. The issue is mainly when I scroll. The window that I am scrolling in gets jumbled, and the movement is hard to control. The picture resets itself after a few second, or if I resize the window. See linked screenshots:

For what it’s worth, I have this issue with both the X-wing module (7.5.2) and the Armada module (3.8.2).

I am on Java 8 update 111.

Some versions of OS X and Java have graphics problems. The only
recommendation I have is to try a different version of Java.
