Anybody have any luck getting the game to work in the current version? I haven’t had any success and don’t want to go back to 3.0
There’s always the ZunTzu version.
Hi all,
I received an email this morning from Brent here at Vassal…
There is a problem in your new LnL Mogadishu module, which is causing your module to be unusable on Vassal 3.1.
I am fixing Vassal now to prevent it crashing, but this will take a couple of weeks to become available.
In the meantime, you might like to fix your module. The problem is that in the Main Map component, you have specified a Map Shading using the image named ‘Image1.png’. This image does not exist in the module. Vassal 3.0.17 failed quietly and so this problem was not obvious. Vassal 3.1 is more touchy about missing images in some components.
You will need to either remove the Map Shading, or add ‘Image1.png’ back into the module.

Brent

I didn’t create the mod, rather it was provided to me by LnL when I asked if one were available and I was given permission to post it here. Sorry for all the confusion regarding this and if I had the ability to fix it I would.
Is it possible to fix this if we don’t have the original files used to create the mod?

I expect that you could do an interim fix by just removing the Map
Shading.
Without the image it won’t be able to shade anyway.

Sorry, should have posted the update here as well. The new, updated mod file, compatible with vassal v3.1.4 is now available here thanks to Brent Easton who sorted it out.
