Does anyone have any bugs which they’ll be fixing very soon? If not, then
I think we should consider releasing 3.1.14 to get out the fixes which
have accumulated since December.
I have one minor enhancement that could be sneaked into 3.1.14. It’s ready to go in my branch for 3.1. I looked at the trunk as well, and I didn’t see any conflicts.

I changed the ui in the editor to give you a combo box instead of a textfield for adding/editing prototype traits of a piece. The combo box is pre-filled with all existing prototype definitions while also allowing you to enter any arbitrary string like before.

since 3.1 is our stable version right now. I’d like to, as much as is
practical, push only bugfixes to the stable branch, in order to avoid
getting into the state where we no longer have any stable version.
Whether to consider this a bugfix or a new feature is unclear to me,
and I’m not keen on getting into the business of having to make a lot
of fine distinctions about these things… I’m not saying I’m opposed
to merging this to 3.1, and I think it’s a good change.

If you don’t want to put it into 3.1.14, I don’t mind. It’s clearly not a bug, but a simple enhancement too small to be called a new feature.

No, but the bugs are not critical. Go ahead and release the next
update. I’ve got a new reason to get back into development, so
hopefully I’ll catch up soon.
