Why do I lose vassal server connection when I open a browser?

Hi everyone,

When I have a vassal game (Or vasl as well) open and am connected to the server on-line to play with other opponents everything seems to work OK. However if I open a browser (Edge or Chrome) after connecting, I lose connection to the server within a minute.

This has only started happening since Sun. I have had vassal servers open and Chrome or Edge browsers open in the past with no issues. I have not changed anything on my computer settings lately.

I am using vassal 3.6.19.

Why is this happening? Any ideas?

Turn off any VPN.

And why for goodness sake must I post at least 20 characters? Jeez, what a pain your forum is. A title must have this length, content must have this length. So I just cannot ‘say’ no.
