Adding cards to Twilight Struggle module

Hello!

My friend and I would like to try out some extra cards in Twilight Struggle, the promo ones that were added in 3rd edition of Polish TS. I was trying to edit the module of Twilight Struggle Deluxe Edition (Twilight-Struggle-Deluxe-3.0.10a.vmod), but I have no experience in creating modules for Vassal whatsoever, so I came here to ask for help.

So far I know how to create the cards and how to properly add traits to them, but they still don’t appear in game. I assume it’s because the cards that I create aren’t written into the default setups. How do I edit or create setups?

Please forgive me if I created this thread in wrong subforum, I thought it would best fit in here. Thanks for the help in advance.

The default setups are generally contained in a “stack”, which you should be able to find by looking under the corresponding map. Then right-click the stack and add single piece.

The TS module is not a regular module, it has a lot of custom java programming. So you might find it difficult to modify.

bdgza is correct.

Even if you knew how to modify or create a VASSAL module, you won’t be able to do that with the usual TS module.
