Aligning grid correctly - new designer

Hi all - a friend and I are designing our first Vassal board game conversion. Last night following the instructions in the Boardgame tutorial I added a couple of boards (need to figure out how to add more than one board column to add extra boards a la Memoir 44 or ASL) and set a 77 x 77 grid up with an offset calculated for the top right hand corner board square. Whilst this worked for the first few left to right and top to bottom, as more squares go a margin of error creeps in and more pixels seems to be added to each box (offsetting the grid a bit of a time with each square) so by the last square bottom right its way off. I checked visual board grid for size imperfections hut all are 77x77. Any hints as to what I might be doing wrong?

cheers
frank

Nice cheers sorted. Grid was a few pixels miss-sized and realigned using cursor keys.
