Button to select some units in a map

Hi all,
I would like to have a button on a map window that allows me to highlight units with same properties on that map.
Is that possible?

Yes it is, and many ways to do it.
Easiest is to add a toolbar GKC which has the correct properties so it
highlights the right pieces and give all your pieces some sort of visual
layer trait indicator that switches on / off when the button is pushed and
the piece matches the property conditions
