Getting a piece from the palette

Is there a way to automate getting/placing a piece directly from the palette?

I have some logic that needs to track spending resources to grab a marker, but the markers are not unique or fixed in number. Thus, using an at-start stack or similar doesn’t appear appropriate…

I feel like there should be a way to automate the common action of a player dragging a piece from the palette onto a board location, but I’m not seeing it…

Any pointers appreciated!

Add a “Place Marker” trait, hit “Select” (instead of “Define Marker”), navigate to your Game Piece Palette and find the piece you want to create, hit OK. Fill out the rest of the fields for Place Marker. Voila!

Alternatively, if you need to add a trait or two to the piece, define the piece using a prototype, and then for Place Marker, use “Define Marker”, and then add that prototype and any new traits you want for the new piece.
