Legendary marvel card game questions for module users

so i have recently been working on updating the legendary marvel module as but I have ran into some things that i would like feed back on;

  • should i prioritize visual card consistency or quality cause I have been using the https://marveldbg.wordpress.com/ site but this only goes up to the into the cosmos expiation but the https://www.legendarycardgame.com/ goes all the way to 2099 but the cards are scanned at a lower quality.
  • related to that should I replace the random cards for heroes and masterminds with those from the WordPress site since the do serve as quick reference cards or find another set possibly using one of the many divider sets from board game geek.
  • how much automation do people really want since the original module had stuff for various schemes and villain abilities, and was pretty in-depth. cause I could add a player card version of the claw trackers beneath the city spaces
  • also how do people feel about adding an artifact and teleport holding box

Watched some of you live video today. I’m a big fan of the MCU movies and TV shows but I’m not familiar with the card game. But, what you have going there looks really good.

I’m currently in extensive playtesting with my gaming buddies and my own self created game “To Be King” so it was interesting to see others in playtesting mode.

hey thanks for the feed back I just sent in the in release candidate 2 versions of the modules to be added to the site. the play testing would be welcomed I include a fan version of the rule book in the module that compiles all the different expiations rules so you can most likely learn it on your own. also I didn’t make this module from scratch as it is an update of an earlier module from 2014 which set up a lot of the automation stuff.

There’s a problem with the rule book, though. I noticed it’s divided into sections but I can only read the first page of each section. I can’t scroll down or go to the next page. I can find the rules online but I thought I’d let you know of the problem.

sorry to be getting back to you so late. I have not noticed this bug but I have noticed that the page select for the rule book always seems to start to the far right hidden (I don’t know what I could do to fix this). if you drag the circled grey bar you can see the page numbers.

just found out that legendary is going to have a 2nd edition core box which looks like it will include side kicks since it has 550 cards (compared to the original core box’s 500) and has a designated space for them.

Oh, yeah. I checked that out and they’re hidden to the right. Went into the module and took a look. I haven’t had any experience putting booklets like that into a module so I don’t how to fix that either. Maybe someone will give us a tip.

going to be tone down the amount of automation planed as the code is very temperamental so more bare bones solutions will be used in the mean time
