With the current hiatus on updates to the (new) module library and, beyond that, difficulty reporting by publisher, I invite anyone who has a GMT module update ready to release to get in touch with me if you would like to share that news via the GMT customer newsletter.
If your module update is available from some other source, you may share a link via the newsletter if you wish. A good method would be to create a news item on this forum summarising the update, along with a download link. I can then share a link to the news item.
Let me know by a reply here or by direct message.
This month’s deadline in June 17th.
I have module updates for The Great Battles of Alexander Expanded Deluxe Edition (v1.5) and The Great Battles of Julius Caesar Deluxe Edition (v1.5). I don’t have an alternate location to post them, although I will probably ask Alan Ray to have them posted directly to the GMT pages for both of those games.
Module upload and download is now working, if you’d like to try it.

OK. I have successfully uploaded The Great Battles of Julius Caesar Deluxe Edition v1.5.0.

I also uploaded The Great Battles of Alexander Expanded Deluxe Edition v1.5.0 even though it needs its own project page because the new library assumes the module with the higher version number is the most recent. Logical, but wrong. The version visible on the Alexander page by Tim M. that is fifteen years old has version number 8.3 while mine is newer but version 1.5.0, so people looking for it may never find it. I could of course just bump mine up to 9.0.0, but that would be rude and probably confusing to people looking for the Tim M version. I hope to discover how to create a new page for the Great Battles of Alexander Expanded Deluxe Version which has the new maps and counters from 2023 to differentiate it from the regular Deluxe version.

How about creating a different Package? Won’t that allow you to seperate out your module development line from the older one?
So here is the result. Still unsatisfying, because I guess the sorter places new packages in descending order automatically versus placing the newer ones at the top which given the unrelated vassal version numbers no consideration between the two versions 8.3 which is fifteen years old, and mine, making it confusing to new visitors to the page as to which one is the most recent version. The information is there, but we’ve all been to a vassal game page where it’s confusing as to which module version to pick because of how the modules are ordered incorrectly.

Start a new project
Then you can make a clean break from the much older version and its newer-appearing version number.
This project is even on the list of pages which need splitting.
I’m getting the API error.
What I’ve done:
Logged out and back in.
Project name attempts
Tried using Alexander_the_Great_ Expanded_Deluxe_Edition
Tried using just a number 1, 2025, 10000…other variations
Tried using Alex
Tried using Alexander
They all return the same API error.
Thanks! That’s gone into the GMT report (hopefully in time).
@uckelman - it’s proved fairly straightforward to extract recently updated projects on GMT modules. The search filter has been effective, combined with a manual check of the page for recently updated files. Maybe it will be possible to automate more of the process in future.
Yeah, I think the new library is going to offer a lot of perks to the process. It feels like ownership of the pages is more in the hands of the module creators than before. Once the kinks get worked out so that full editing of the page can be accomplished, it’s going to be a tremendous improvement.

Is the file in the Images package intended to go into the image gallery?
Also, you have a bad sort key for the game title. The sort key should be the game title with the leading article “The” trailing the end of the title, as you’d find in an index.
I replaced the Sort key as follows.
Great Battles of Alexander, The

Just seeing this.
Yes. I was hoping that was how images were added, but that was a silly thought.
If you can move the two images in the example below from the old Deluxe Alexander Page to the new project page, that would be awesome.
Also, my 1.5.0 module should be removed from the old page as well. I have removed myself from the Project Owner list from the old page.
I’ve moved the two gallery images. The remaining issues are still on my list.
