oldValue of global properties

Hi guys!

Is there an oldValue for a numeric global property to track changes in reports as for dynamic properties?
I tried $oldXXXX$ but it reported the new, actual value.
Or do I need to make a temporary property I copy all values in (with trigger action) before change and report?

A nameless toolbar button for the global property with report and a global hotkey trait for the gamepiece solves it.
