I have used a Trigger with a match {CurrentMap != OldMap} to operate only with pieces newly moved onto the map. Otherwise it is coped from “MovedOnMap” from the “Key Command to apply to all units ending movement on this map” like Example #1: of VASSAL Reference Manual.
My trigger initiates the Ctrl-P, which is the default command to open the Properties Sheet of the piece that just moved onto the map.
My problem is that the properties sheet appears behind the map, so can’t be edited unless the map is moved out of the way.
Have I done something wrong?
Daniel
Is the piece you are using on your main map, or on a subsidiary map?
What is the setting of your ‘Use combined application window’ preference?
Thanks.
Thank You Brent,
The piece was dragging from the Pieces Pallet to the Main Map.
Changing from having ‘Use combined application window’ ticked to unticked has solved the issue.
I have no idea what that preference means for other actions, but I’ll keep it unticked in future.
