Quick grid question...

I’ve been pouring over the Designer’s Guide and can’t find an answer to this question; I’m sure it must have a simple solution, so I thought I’d just ask.

My board has a Multi-Zone Grid with quite a few zones on it. They’re fine, but when it comes to movement reporting, any place outside the zones that a player might move a piece is reported as ‘offboard’. I don’t need anything fancy here, but I’d really like movement outside the zones to report as ‘the board’, or ‘a space’, or something.

I tried laying a Rectangular Grid over the whole board, thinking that it would fill those spaces, but it wiped out all my Zones! So I’m gonna have to rebuild them, and I want to make sure I do it right.

Any ideas?

Define a zone that encompasses the entire graphic area call it “the board”.
That will remove the offboard msg
Like traits zone/grid order is important or you wipe out your previous zones
as you discovered - just reverse the ordering
