I’m stumped on how to make the masked units in this image (under the leadership of Schwerin) show that they are “In Fort” which is a graphic you can see when they are not masked.
Move the “In Fort” graphic trait so it is on the other side of the
mask trait. The mask trait only applies to traits, etc. that are
after it in the list.
Hey, I recognize that map.
Thanks for working on a Frederick the Great module, I’ll have to get it.
Mask affects graphic traits that are before not after - i.e above it in the trait list order
Basic Piece
Layer 1
Layer 2
Mask
Layer 3
In this example Layers 1 & 2 are affected by the Mask while Layer 3 is not

Hi guys - Thank you for your interest. This is based on the Avalon Hill version, so hopefully I can publish it to the VASSAL site.
This is my first module and it’s been a labor of love - completely re-drawn map (to look like the classic) and all re-drawn counters.
Below you can see the force under Picolomini at Olmutz both “In Fort” and masked, as viewed by the owning player. Above you can get an idea of what a masked unit looks like as the opponent.
I’ve got the 1756 scenario created and hope to have some experts poke around and use it and provide some recommendations. I will post tomorrow night or the next night and welcome your feedback!
