Strange issue with copying prototype

I’ve copied (using the XML export/import functions) a prototype from one version of a module to a version I’m updating. One of the elements of the prototype is a layer with several alternate images. The prototype copied correctly, but the images in the layer did not appear in the new module; and when I try and add the images manually, it doesn’t work. Specifically, I go through the process of adding the images, but after the process there is still no image showing the the layer.

FYI, I tried to delete the layer part of the prototype and add it again manually, but got the same result.

Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks!

More experimentation shows that, although adding the images manually did not APPEAR to work, when I saved the module and reloaded it they were there; so I guess this is “never mind.”

There are some things which don’t show up until an edited module is reloaded.
