Hi, conversion of my old ADC2 module ‘The cossacks are coming’ to Vassal is slowly and tentatively nearing completion and I would like to ask a few questions to any grognard patient enough to post an answer:

  1. Is there a way to reorganize the sequence of the buttons in the toolbar?

  2. Stacking lines. Is there any way to switch the vertical line to the right like this?

  3. I am going to add the invisibility trait to all combat units and to note down their historical designations. Is there any way to do it fast, or do I have to access and edit every single game piece separately? I have read something about a multi-piece editor, but it seems to be a high-risk option and I don’t really understand how it works. (VASSAL Reference Manual)

  1. Top down order in module governs left - right order on the toolbar. Drag the button component up or down in the module accordingly. Restart module.

  2. There is a stacking component on each map that governs the offsets at which pieces stack.

  3. Use a prototype for this. Try the multi piece editor, if that doesn’t work, copy the prototype line from one piece and paste it into each other piece in turn.
