I have done a very stupid thing. I was simultaneously working on two modules for the same game using two different approaches. Whilst working on Approach “A”, Something dropped on my keyboard and deleted several of the components. There is no button in Vassal, so I can’t recover the deleted components (3 card decks about 100 individual cards and a couple of other components). I have all these components present in Approach “B” but I can’t cut and paste them into Approach “A” because the way Vassal works, the facility appears not to be available. Unless someone can come to my rescue?
Right-click on the component you want to transfer to “A” and select “Export to XML”. This will create a new file. Go back to “A” and right-click on the parent item where you want the component and “Import from XML”, and select the file you created. I’m going from memory here, so I may have the wording slightly wrong.
