Using Multi Zone Grid Loactions in At Start Stacks

I have a single map in the module, multi-zoned.
Default hex grid numbered over the whole map.
Four Zones defined, NW, SW, NE, SE, with custom grids and numbering, alphabetical instead of numeric.

I can’t get At-Start Stacks to recognize the Zone grid locations. What am I missing?

I’m not an expert.
I never tried to have grids on top of each other. I know when I defined a box (say ‘dead units’) on-top of the grid, I could not access the hex numbers underneath. But I am learning new VASSAL stuff everyday. Looking forward to the answer also.
