Some notes:
I don’t think this is a legal transfer action move. There is nothing going from the Tequ’ran system to the HS. It appears to be simply two different moves happening at the same time (and only using 1 CC from the CP).
Pg 14 in the orginal book has this to say about transfer movement:
In the book between is bold, and while I agree this statement is a little ambiguous, I believe its intention to have things go back and forth.
Any other thoughts on this are welcome.
Creuss finds artifact on Lodor. YAY!!!
PMed Winnu on objectives.
Map updated. (Does not include Jolnar’s move.)
Passed:
Hacan
My thought on this… they use the word “may” rather than “must”. Meaning you don’t have to, but you can. While it could be taken as two different moves at the same time, there are some restrictions and downsides to doing it this way as opposed to two tactical actions.
As for resolving my strategy card, the winnu reveals the following objective
“I successfully took control of a planet with 1 opposing ground force”
I will not at this time claim an objective
agreed, my interpretation of the transfer action is the same. the between is simply there to emphasize that you cannot bring forces from any other system(s), only the two activated for the action.
The jol-nars move is legal. He meets the requirement of having a unit in both systems (destroyer in HS, GF in Tequ’ran)
I personally think the rule should require a ship end its movement in each system. However, until that happens I’ll happily continue to conserve CCs with this loop hole.
Agreed. As I can find no fault in the wording or the logic, I will allow the move for now. Jolnar’s move will be in the next map update.
